The Birthday Party

Baby J (not so baby anymore) and his cousin (6 days younger) turned ONE...rightly so, we celebrated with a party. I didnt capture too much of the event due to my running around, sweating in the June heat and trying to get things in place.  It turned out to be a great event, hosted at my sister's amazing house.  Our boys were surrounded by their friends and family.  All around happy occasion.

Our amazingly talented friend, Cate, blogged about the party.  Check out her blogs.....all of them are amazing! Look at her son's nursery!  She is an inspiration, I just gazed at this entry wishing I could be so creative. Poor baby J does not have a nursery like this! ha!  This is a delicious room for a scrumptious baby!

Anyways, back to the party.....

For the event we turned to Etsy. If you have not gotten anything on Etsy yet you are missing out. It is an amazing resource. I wanted to give a "shout out" to the amazing folks to contributed to our event.

Our invitations were made by: Darci at SpillingBeans.  They are INCREDIBLE and I think I will end up framing one of them.  She also made Happy Birthday signs for each boy which came out really well

We had super cute cup cake toppers which I could not get enough of!  These came from Tina at MyPaperPantry

This is probably the most amazing farm animal themed birthday party I have even seen - can you even stand how creative this is? Check this out for fun: Farm Animal Party in Australia....maybe we should start working on next years party now?!?!
